What is a Meal Prep Chef and Why do I need one?

A meal prep chef is a skilled culinary expert who plans, shops, prepares, and cooks a variety of meals and snacks for you and your family. You need one because it takes you 21 hours on average to plan, shop, cook, and clean up meals for the week.

How often will you come to my home?

Once or Twice a week.

How does it work?

A couple of days before cooking:

We correspond with meal and snack ideas, and finalize the selections the eve before cooking.

The morning of cooking I go shopping, come to your home, prep, cook, label food, clean and tidy the kitchen, and head home.

Will I need to be home?

No, it is not necessary. I will use your instructions on entering and exiting, leaving your kitchen cleaner than it was when you left it. Privacy and security are always respected.

What is the cost?

50$ an hour, plus the cost of groceries and the time it takes to shop. I will work a minimum of 4 hours and a max of 7.

How do I pay you?

All transactions will be made through Stripe. I’ll send you a credit card authorizationn form/link with Stripe along with my contract. All services are paid for on the day of, that way there won’t be any hassle with invoices.

How much food is included?

That’s going to depend on our menus and how many people are in the household, as well as your budget.

Where will you shop for groceries?

I favor Whole Foods and Wegmans based on the quality and locality of ingredients. I will shop at the store that is within your budget.

Do you have experience cooking plant-based, keto, or paleo?

Yes, I enjoy these specifications as they keep me challenged.

How about food allergies such as Alpha-Gal?

Yes, I am very familiar with alpha-gal and several other allergies. I am Serv Safe Allergen Certified as well, to ensure your food is being properly handled with the utmost care.
